Arts Providers Partnering

How We Partner with other Arts Providers

Our history is characterised by working in real partnership with beneficiaries, individuals, groups, organisations and funding agencies and commissioners. It is an underpinning pillar of our practice and non-negotiable.

Our corporate relationships are, like any other business, often defined by commissioning requirements. Likewise, the company’s approach to Risk Management often requires a variety of discussions and negotiated agreements, be they legally binding or more informal in purpose, building trust and mutual respect.

SAFE is developing formally binding consortia agreements and service frameworks to more effectively enter procurement and tendering arrangements, with partners, especially in health and social care.

We value co-producing Partnership Understandings with some partners, ensuring both parties have equitable rights and responsibilities for maintaining positive business relations.

Associate Artists and Creative Practitioners

Over the last few years SAFE has proactively developed a bank of Associate Artists, able to make themselves available for freelance work on a demand-led basis. These artists have provided a high quality resource to the company, especially valuable in the company’s early years and their support and flexibility is warmly acknowledged.

We continuously seek to enhance the diversity of knowledge, skills and abilities available to the company as it grows and seeks to deliver an ever wider breadth and depth of services.

SAFE strives to offer development opportunities to new, emerging and existing artists, particularly those who value participatory working in the social realm.
